Discover the colorful world of Andy Warhol, who transformed everyday products, famous faces, and popular culture into some of America’s most recognizable works of art. Students will explore repetition, bold color, printmaking, and Pop Art while discovering how artists can find inspiration in the images and objects that surround us every day.
Students will learn art terms and new techniques. We will use a variety of media each month, including acrylic, watercolor, oil pastels, chalks and more. Please note that the picture used in this description is from a previous class. Upcoming planned activities may be different than what is shown above. This is to ensure that returning students are presented with new lessons and materials.
