MEXICAN ART

Dates / Time: Tuesday evenings (3 sessions per unit)
November 11th, 18th, and 25th (Drop off starts at 5:55PM)

Ages: Early Elementary (5-9yrs) Intermediate (10-14yrs)

Young artists will focus on the stylings of Mexican art. During the month of November they will create projects each weekly session using creative methods and techniques inspired by art created by popular Mexican artists like Frida Kahlo.

Students will learn art terms and new techniques. We will use a variety of media each month, including acrylic, watercolor, oil pastels, chalks and more. Please note that the picture used in this description is from a previous class. Upcoming planned activities may be different than what is shown above. This is to ensure that returning students are presented with new lessons and materials.
