Step into the mysterious, dreamlike world of Gertrude Abercrombie, an American artist who filled her paintings with quiet landscapes, intriguing symbols, and touches of the unexpected. Students will explore how artists can use imagination, mood, and personal symbolism to create visual stories that leave plenty of room for interpretation.

Students will learn art terms and new techniques. We will use a variety of media each month, including acrylic, watercolor, oil pastels, chalks and more.
